This is an Evergreen position that ResourceKraft and our boutique development house, Full Stack Energy hire for throughout the year. Candidates that we are interested in meeting
with will have some of the following:
- Minimum 7 years’ experience working in software development
- Prior experience working in the sustainability or energy efficiency/ management sector
- Prior experience working across the full software development lifecycle from creating domain-driven design solutions and integrating them within existing cloud infrastructure
- Increased efficiency in all the key processes in the software development life cycle
- Proven track record of developing highly efficient, extensible, and secure applications on the cloud
- Responsible for the successful automation of low-value manual tasks
- Successfully worked with a range of stakeholders to ensure that the correct software features are designed and developed efficiently
- Built successful relationships with all kinds of stakeholders, including customers, managers, hardware developers, architects, field engineers and electrical contractors
- Excellent work ethic, dependable, and responsible
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt and self-evaluate along the way
They will be also technically experienced in some of the following areas:
- SOLID Design Principles and Design Patterns
- Cloud platforms (AWS preferable)
- Python, Java or Typescript
- Networking: VPN, VPC, ELB - Elastic Beanstalk
- Compute: EC2, Lambda, AppSync
- Storage: S3, EBS & Disaster Recovery
- Data: DynamoDB, RDS, ElastiCache & SQL
- DevOps: CI/CD - CloudFormation, Github & GitHub Actions
- Admin & Security: AD Config, CloudWatch
- Scripting: Bash/PowerShell
