Recruiting: Senior Software Engineer

This is an Evergreen position that ResourceKraft and our boutique development house, Full Stack Energy hire for throughout the year. It is a way for us to build a database of qualified, interested engineers so that when there is a need to fill that type of role, the hiring process will be faster. Candidates that we are interested in meeting
will have some of the following:

  • Minimum 7 years’ experience working in software development 
  • Prior experience working in the sustainability or energy efficiency/ management sector 
  • Prior experience working across the full software development lifecycle from creating domain-driven design solutions and integrating them within existing cloud infrastructure  
  • Increased efficiency in all the key processes in the software development life cycle 
  • Proven track record of developing highly efficient, extensible, and secure applications on the cloud 
  • Responsible for the successful automation of low-value manual tasks 
  • Successfully worked with a range of stakeholders to ensure that the correct software features are designed and developed efficiently 
  • Built successful relationships with all kinds of stakeholders, including customers, managers, hardware developers, architects, field engineers and electrical contractors 
  • Excellent work ethic, dependable, and responsible 
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt and self-evaluate along the way 

They will be also technically experienced in some of the following areas: 

  • SOLID Design Principles and Design Patterns 
  • Cloud platforms (AWS preferable) 
  • Python, Java or Typescript  
  • Networking: VPN, VPC, ELB - Elastic Beanstalk 
  • Compute: EC2, Lambda, AppSync 
  • Storage: S3, EBS & Disaster Recovery 
  • Data: DynamoDB, RDS, ElastiCache & SQL 
  • DevOps: CI/CD - CloudFormation, Github & GitHub Actions 
  • Admin & Security: AD Config, CloudWatch 
  • Scripting: Bash/PowerShell
